Hello, this is CUBE SYSTEM public relations officer. This time, I would like to introduce the company-wide event "CUBE SYSTEM Award 2024" held in May.
Our company used to hold a face-to-face company-wide event every year. This event was a valuable opportunity for employees to meet their peers and meet face-to-face with members from other locations who they usually only talk to online. However, in recent years, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have not been able to hold face-to-face events for a while.
The event was finally back this year, with the first part focusing on "Initiatives in the V2026 Second Medium-Term Management Plan" and the second part focusing on the "Social Gathering." In addition, at the reception on the day of the event, an AI facial recognition system was used to identify employees based on their facial images registered in advance, allowing for speedy attendance confirmation.
Our company's second Medium-Term Management Plan began in fiscal year 2024. The slogan for the second mid-term plan is "Second Founding - Staying true to the basics and achieving dramatic growth." At this event, President Nakanishi spoke about the thoughts behind the slogan, as well as the initiatives he will be focusing on and the goals he is aiming for, providing an opportunity for all employees to share these with each other.
In the first part, in addition to sharing the initiatives under the "V2026 Second Medium-Term Management Plan," awards were also given to projects, organizations, measures, etc. A total of 21 projects, organizations, and measures were announced, including those that contributed significantly to improving business performance and corporate value in fiscal 2023, and those that were evaluated by the president himself, and each member was awarded on stage.
The second part of the event was a party-style social gathering for employees, with a relaxed atmosphere and events including awards for long service and the announcement of the results of a bowling tournament between each organization.
On a different floor from the main venue, items that represent milestones in our company's history, such as posters with slogans from each era, back issues of our company newsletters, and various commemorative items, were exhibited about our company's more than 50-year history. In addition, we replayed videos of our company's history and interviews with people who led the company that were produced for the 50th anniversary event. While looking at the exhibits and videos, each employee was touched by the company's history in a way that brought back memories, new memories, and an interesting experience.
This was the first company-wide event we held in about four years, and seeing the smiles on the faces of the many participants made me realize once again how important face-to-face communication is. In addition to this event, our company also holds many other internal events. We hope to continue introducing such events in the future!
