Hello. I am in charge of IR in the Business Planning Department.

At this event, we held an ideathon online with the issue of well-being.
Introducing the ideathon and our way of thinking about well-being.

Have you ever heard the word ideathon?

I would like to introduce what it means ...

A coined word that combines an idea and a marathon.
An event held to generate new ideas.
Mainly used in the IT field.

Ideathon, which became popular in the United States in the 2000s.
Having discussions with multiple people makes it easier to share your thoughts, which is great for developing your ability to communicate.

Ideathon's purpose is to find new ideas and breakthroughs in challenges as a team.
With such a characteristic ideathon, we held an online ideathon at our event with the issue of well-being.
One of the purposes is to create ideas and products to increase well-being in-house.

So what is well-being?

Do you know the meaning of the word "well-being," which is the issue of this year's conference? I'm sure you've heard it more often lately, but let's keep it as a point here♪

Well-being is a word that is often translated as "happiness" or "peacefulness".
In other words, it means "healthy state both physically and mentally".
When applied to corporate management ...

  • The fact that each employee is physically and mentally healthy brings out the best performance and leads to a sense of growth and happiness.
  • Realizing dreams while gathering with resonating friends is important for people to live affluently.
  • Only an organization that can autonomously work with high motivation can provide high added value to customers.

Based on this idea, it is regarded as a concept that takes the conventional "Health and Productivity Management (often focused on prevention of diseases such as lifestyle-related diseases)" one step further.

Well-being is a prerequisite for employees to be in good physical and mental condition.
We believe that the corporate organization has a good atmosphere and is vibrant, and both sides are society and economically sound and are in a state of achieving sustainable growth.

I have been calling on everyone to practice the V2026 Vision statement "Communication & Mutual Respect" at every opportunity, and the aim is to realize "Well-being management".

    As mentioned above, CUBE SYSTEM is engaged in well-being management.

    Ideathon day

    On the day of Ideathon, an event was held at the Microsoft Teams online meeting.
    In a group work of 4 to 5 people, we also used the online whiteboard "miro" for discussions.

    After doing Mandarat (organizing and expanding ideas), we divided into groups to introduce ideas and exchange opinions.
    Eventually, we will pitch (announce) the ideas we have brushed up!

    What we can see from the result of the idea pitch

    At the idea pitch, there were many ideas that would be “rewarding” for employees, and they were all sympathetic.

    Participants voted for ideas, and the top five were presented with prize-winning smart AI sterilization robots.

    Finally···

    How was it?
    At our company, not only the president but also each employee thinks about well-being and exchanges opinions to work on well-being management.
