The new construction project for the information system, which started in June 2016, has become a major project in which several well-known system integrators participate. CUBE SYSTEM succeeded in receiving orders after making proposing to one of them. I was in charge of building the core system part from the requirement definition stage.

The core system manages purchasing, ordering, inventory, accounting information, etc. received from all stores. There are about 2,000 features that need to be implemented. Therefore, in addition CUBE SYSTEM customers partner companies jointly built it.

It took about two and a half years to complete the development. CUBE SYSTEM team was in the months when the consolidation test was conducted. During that time, about 200 people, including about 50 proper people, our partner companies, and offshore companies, took part in the development.

Since the contractor was a Chinese company, I went to the site in advance and explained the required specifications in detail. Asynchronous processing is realized by the SPA structure

Immediate response to unknown frameworks

Even so, I used my little spare time to hold study sessions and acquired the necessary knowledge in a short period of time.

System maintenance is still ongoing

In fact, at the beginning of the project, customers were worried about completing the project on time due to factors such as scale. However, the delay in the schedule that occurred at the basic design stage was greatly recovered by reviewing the plan. In November 2018, we were able to officially put the core system into operation without any fatal delays or troubles. As the main vendor, CUBE SYSTEM has earned the trust customers, remains in the field and continues to maintain the system.

Through thorough visualization of quantitative information, we were able to achieve high quality by quickly finding issues and risks and quickly resolving them.
